MY FIRST STORY ~ ALL LEAD TRACKS review

1. LET IT DIE

(Music: Nob, Lyrics: Hiro; Theme for PS4 Game LET IT DIE )

When I first saw the trailer, I thought it sounded like something they had written specifically for ナノ @ nano.Listening to her sing that refrain seems fair. There was a female quality to it, in which its shaking tenseness was compensated for by Hiro’s shout at the conclusion. Regardless, many people complained that they preferred this song to the previous trailer, REVIVER.I, on the other hand, felt the sweet refrain was differentiating to the picture of the Horrid Collector in that trailer.

Teru said on STORYTELLER that this melody is his top pick from this collection. I so accept him. It’s easy to tell that the guitar riffs were made by a huge Metallica fan. Not the current Metallica, but the classic Metallica from the 1980s. Teru knows his overwhelming metal history and it appears. Of course, because MFS isn't a straight-ahead metal band, he doesn't do it as forcefully as they do, but it's absurd for me not to notice the effects of a certain classic Metallica melody in it ().

The bass lines are especially overwhelming in the intro and the breakdowns all through. Not astounding when the melody composition is credited to Nob. Ever since MFS got to be a 4-piece band, he has been making the bass sound more conspicuous within the band’s general musical course of action. At that point, I also feel that the combination of Teru’s clean guitar lines on the beat of the thick beat segment steers the sound towards something that would fit Linkin Stop around the Modern Separate era.

But still, in spite of the overwhelming beat and the Metallica-inspired guitar riffs, the melody, by and large, is still sugary sweet to me. I figure I was fairly anticipating something "harsher". It’s not that I think it’s awful, but to me it’s just an odd match for a grisly survival diversion like Let It Die.

2. REVIVER MV Version

(Music: Hiro/ZENTA, Lyrics: Hiro; Theme for smartphone game Hortensia Saga)

The thing that caught me most about the MV was "Hey, this tune is distinctive from the trailer!". I took note that certain guitar lines were lost from the intro and the reverberation delivered when one holds the notes on the guitar strings at the conclusion was not there either. I was looking forward to seeing Teru’s hand as he held the notes there, but it didn’t happen. He saw the camera shot, but his hand was within the control chord position instep.

Yes, because it turned out, MFS recorded another form. In general, the beat guitars in this form are thicker. This one sounds like it would be the one to really be played live. It’s simpler to handle onstage for a single-guitarist band. It’s power chords and after that, a brief solo and after that, back to the crunchy control chords once more. The swoon-here-and-there guitar embellishments can be cleared out to backing tracks. Teru unleashes his inner old-school rocker with the solo.He keeps it brief but leaves an impression with the way he closes it.Hello, finger-tapping continuously will never fall flat on anyone!

Hiro took a huge chance by changing the key at one point of the tune, a.k.a. the portion where he fell submerged within the MV. Considering his high-toned voice, moo notes are not his specialty. He had issues singing the lower notes live when MFS showcased Final Call on Sukkiri. It’s justifiable considering his common voice. Which is why it astounded me that he challenged me to alter the key here. The key alter itself is precarious, but hitting moo notes for a high-pitched vocalist is totally another challenge.

As anticipated, Hiro truly did have issues taking care of that portion when they performed it live for the Fukuoka Hawks.

REVIVER, as a topic melody, seems more appropriate to the amusement it is expecting than LET IT KICK THE BUCKET.The complete melody sounds like a journey and the way the tune closes gives you the feeling that the legend of the story will meet his triumph at the end.

3. この世界で一番の幸せ者にはする事など出来ないかもしれないけど …..

(Music: Hiro, Lyrics: Hiro; Theme for Buzz Rhythm July 2017)

Who else but Hiroki Moriuchi would choose that as a song title? In its claim, his version of "normal" is from another world XD.

Title perusing & translation:
kono sekai de ichiban no shiawase-sha ni suru koto nado dekinai kamoshirenai kedo …..
Though being the most joyful individual in this world is something I may not be able to do …..

Similar to my sentiments towards LET IT Pass on, this one moreover has that ナノ @ nano-ish vibe to me. Yes, I can envision her showing up at the refrain.

The bridge in the first half of the melody (00:20 00:39) is my favorite part. It’s such a sweet, melancholic tune, which suits Hiro’s delicate voice superbly. It brings out the longing feeling for an individual truly well, which is what the verses are approximately. Tragically, this portion never gets repeated.

Teru’s solo on this one is direct and well-paced. Not the garish hair metal fashion at all, but more along the lines of what Steve Lukather of Toto would play. I’m beyond any doubt the lion's share of my perusers don’t know who Steve or Toto are. Well, Steve Lukather is one of the most recorded guitarists in history since he played on so numerous records by major specialists in the world.

Lyrics-wise, I am trusting that usually fair an embellishment of Hiro’s creative energy, since if it’s genuine, at that point the object-of-affection is likely to be... I think I’ll just keep my thoughts to myself for that... But I truly believe it is a true and exaggerated story about him pulverizing a celebrity or something XD.

4. The Storyteller

(Music: Hiro, Lyrics: Hiro; Theme for 全心 aka Zenshin Documentary)

This tune is so much like an upgraded form of the ancient school tune Bon Jovi (). Back in 1986 and 1987, Never Say Farewell, to be correct. While the sound isn't particularly modern, it serves the purpose for which it was intended.

The Storyteller has this dormant feeling, like something you do while relaxing or recovering from exhaustion after a long and difficult battle.Dormant was the precise word I utilized to portray Bon Jovi’s Never Say Farewell back then.

I felt like a severely injured officer after a war, struggling to walk domestically on a lonely street and thanking those who came and advertised to hold his hand along the way.regretfully say to the kind-hearted supporters, "I’m too bad that I’m broken... but... thank you, thank you for your thoughtfulness and for accepting me,"

That’s precisely what the tune is about. Hiro fought long and hard with his bandmates by his side.... and it’s depleting. The Storyteller feels precisely that. Hiro composed it from that state of intellect, and his bandmates complemented it with the sound. Truly, I don’t relate much to numerous melody verses, but I do relate to this one. It’s my story. I started this blog to help clear up all of their mistakes, especially Hiro's.It takes difficult work and sheer devotion, and this melody captures that feeling of depletion. I’m thankful for my trip in spite of the fact that

I could envision the video it would be shown with the moment I realized this melody was unusually composed as the Zenshin subject tune and dedicated to the Storytellers.Individuals from the band film, fans film, behind-the-scenes film, onstage, offstage...all with moderate movement and dark and light channelsBon Jovi, Bon Jovi, Bon Jovi, eh?

Composed as a “gift" to Storytellers, they keep the MV private for the Fan Club. So, non-members may fair believe my words on this.

My as it were complain is it’s a missed opportunity for an enthusiastic guitar solo. Alright, It takes a parcel for Teru to appear his feelings to the world. So, possibly it was still unbalanced for him to put one in. Sometime in the not so distant future expensive (^^)

5. Smash Out!! Budokan LIVE version

(Music: Hiro* (?), Lyrics: Hiro; Theme for Shinjuku Swan II)

Presently I’m negating myself. I straightforwardly conceded that I wasn’t affectionate of this tune when I surveyed ANTITHESE since I was disliking of a few choices of words within the verses. Oddly, with this specific Live form, I get so drawn to Hiro yelling out the swear word “Uze!!!”. Other than him saying it out uproarious at the Budokan with his guardians in participation, I figure it tickles me since Teru once tweeted a photo of Hiro and captioned it “Uze~”. Aahh! Presently they’re rise to ^^

The music is louder and livelier than the recorded adaptation. The folks played the music steadfastly to the collection. Teruki reproduced his guitar solo flawlessly note for note. From my encounter observing him play this melody before me, I think Teru appreciates doing this one Live. At that point, Hiro’s live vocals are …… well, he’s not Taka. But that’s anticipated XD

6. 花0714 special acoustic version feat. UK from Moroha

(Music & Lyrics : MY FIRST STORY; Theme for a friend’s wedding*)

I have continuously been a fan of great acoustic guitar numbers. Happy to see this being kept lively by more youthful era of guitarists like YouTube star Sungha Jung.

UK’s playing is reminiscent of Guileful Dodger or that kind of craftsmen. A shake guitarist I can think of who has this kind of acoustic energy is Vito Bratta once of White Lion. A certain sound UK made could be a strategy my brother once tried to teach me numerous a long time back. You are doing it by softly squeezing the string together with your finger joint instead of your fingertip. It was ridiculous hell troublesome and I gave up.

This form is additionally Nob’s top choice from this collection. He said so in this NO Music NO Life meet with Tower Records. Of all the tracks on this album, he trusts the foremost for individuals to tune in to this one.

How fitting! I was considering of Nob the total time when I to begin with tuned in to this adaptation, knowing that he played the acoustic guitar on 21 Miles. I commented in my ANTITHESE survey that Nob has this touch of delicacy with his guitar playing. No astonish he likes UK’s style.

This adaptation at last satisfies what I need a wedding tune to be. At slightest for my kind of wedding. Sentimental and insinuate. Similar to a wedding ought to be a celebration of you and your life partner, this one celebrates the closeness of a delicate singing voice and a delicately picked guitar.

At the conclusion of the day in spite of the fact that, whether you select this or the initial, it depends on what kind of a wedding it is. I actually will take this one. But as sentimental because it is, this one will get misplaced in a amazing wedding XD

7. REVIVER Original Hortensia Saga version

(Music: Hiro & ZENTA, Lyrics: Hiro; Theme for Hortensia Saga smartphone game)

This can be the one that initially went to the trailer. I have no thought why they made another form but “double REVIVER”, I’m not complaining. Hello, I get to listen Teruki Nishizawa working it up TWICE!

The guitars truly are distinctive. This one has less crunchy cadence guitar. The clean guitar line within the intro plays along traded with the synthesizer instep. This adaptation would sound more grounded Live with genuine TWO guitarists in my supposition. I would say once Sho comes back, they can opt to play this rather than the MV version.

Teru made a distinctive and speedier guitar solo for this form. He cleared out all the control chords to the other one. He too built up the guitar line towards the finishing and held the notes there. This is often the portion that I at first found lost when I to begin with observed the MV.

Both forms are great. I don’t truly favor one over the other. I fair feel that the MV adaptation is more reasonable for a single guitarist Live. This one needs two guitarists onstage to bring out the Live feel for the twofold guitar layering. One guitarist with backing tracks doesn’t have the same affect, at slightest to my ears. But in case you don’t intellect that, it doesn’t matter which adaptation they select at that point (^^)

Extra thoughts:
I’m happy I got those 3 Versions of the collection. Naturally, a few musically more youthful fans can feel completely distanced by the ancient school references the folks kept making all through the collection. Looks just like the members’ tastes are from a diverse era than their group of onlookers. Unusually, I did not say Kid'z at all in any of the tunes. He kinda not stood out as well much this time. He’s high-energy as normal. He played his parts well but he didn’t dominate the band. Live could be a distinctive story I’m beyond any doubt XD
